4/11/09 - Can't Wait to Do This with Our Kids - Dying Easter Eggs

Amy's family has always had the tradition of dying eggs at Easter time. Even after she moved out of the house, she still went back each year to dye eggs. And the tradition continues with Samantha and Maddy, our nieces! There are always fun stickers and paints to add to the eggs once they are dry.

I first read the lyrics to this song on another blog and was struck by them. Then I recognized them in the film Fireproof and the music was so beautiful, I cried all the way through the song! It has become our anthem and prayer through this adoption process.

4/07/09 - Our African Lion Masks

These beautiful, hand made masks are from our niece Samantha and were a birthday present for Amy!! She was very excited to give them and wanted to make sure we knew they were a lion and lioness from Africa!! They are presently on display on the babies' room at our house!!
