This article was so God! Amy emailed our local paper asking them to print a blurb about an upcoming event in regard to our adoption, and they emailed back the next day to say they wanted to do a story! They interviewed us both on the phone and sent a photographer to the house to take pictures. And they would like to continue the story when we receive our referral and when we bring our children home! WOW!

About Me - Amy
I live in a small town in northern Illinois, half way between Chicago and Milwaukee. I am a child of God, wife, Mom to 3 beautiful boys born in Africa (2 home since 2010, one still waiting for), and child care provider.
As a family we love camping, going on adventures (and most of life is an adventure!), being with friends and family, and our sports teams - the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.

What a great article. We tried domestic adoption first and it fell through. That was before we adopted Anna from Guatemala. She was 7 months when we brought her home and is now 5. She is such a blessing.
It was great seeing the article and hoping that it will touch other lives and convince them to adopt.

Are you still using America World adoption agency? What are your thoughts about them? We are thinking about adopting a sibling set from Ethiopia through them...would be interested to hear your feedback. Thanks.
