After playing outside in the snow, we came inside and had our first cups of hot cider. The boys loved it, although I would venture a guess that it was the stirring action they liked the most!

Hi Amy,
You don't know me but I was a good friend of Michael Vagnoni since we met at Marriott's Great America in 1978. In fact, we were room mates in Kenosha for several years.
I've recently been catching up with good friends of mine from the past and thought of Mike. I heard about your blog from another mutual friend of Mike and I. Congratulations about your adoption, you seem to have built a wonderful family for you, Mike and the boys.
I last heard from Mike on a voicemail he left for me in 2008 when our mutual friend Karen Szalapski died. My wife was in the hospital for knee replacement surgery and I spent most of my time with her the weekend Mike called. I felt terrible that I didn't find out about Karen's wake/funeral until after they were held.
Anyway, I was interested in touching base with Mike again about "old times" and find out more about Karen. I was hoping you would let Mike know and he can contact me via email or Facebook.
My email address is "Keith.VanPatten@unicous.com"
Best wishes,
Keith Van Patten
