We attended our first children's concert with friends at Ravinia last weekend, a children's rock band called
Milkshake. We had purchased lawn tickets and planned to sit on a blanket and chairs, take in the concert, let the kids run and dance, and eat! Mother Nature had a different plan. We had not even settled in, when they moved all of us on the lawn into the pavilion and it began to pour rain - but hey, we paid $5 for $10 tickets (thanks Cog and Harry for the gift that made this fun day possible!)
Milkshake on stage:

John and our friend Eleanor as the concert started:

I think the boys had trouble realizing that what we had been listening to on CDs was now live right on stage!

Oh Amy, those boys are so incredibly precious. So glad I found your blog again:) It was good to see you in May. I hope you have a wonderful memory-making summer with your precious ones.
